Ceriatone (hotcat clone) Gain

Hi all :) hey i was tempet to build the ceriatone straycat 30. Its the Badcat Hotcat clone.
I listened to many clips on youtube regarding the original hotcat.
Is there any mod or value you can change to lessen this high gain monster without loosing headroom. The amp would be wonderful if it just lost some of that crazy gain
