can you help me identify this tube retainer?

I have a customer looking for one of these. I want to help him, but boy is this an odd one. Its out of an Engl amp...let me know if you've seen this before.

You could probably make this out of some thin metal, a vice or even vice grips, tin shears a drill and a grommet. Use the one you have to make a pattern with it.

Yeah i guess you are right...maybe I'll try that, although i really don't enjoy working with metal.

Hopefully one of the guys knows where to find these...

I have a little Crate Palamino V8 that uses a EL84 with a similar tube retainer.

Not that it helps you because I don't know where you would buy one.

Does the Epi Valve Jr. use a similar one?

Yeah, they sell these things at guitar center! You'd think they wouldn't be using proprietary tube holders!

I think the amp has 6L6!!
