screen filter, PI, V1 in can cap?
Hi,I would like to use a can cap (40-20-20-20) for the screens, PI, and V1. B+1 has its own filter cap and ground location. Could I include the screens in the can cap and if so where should I ground it? I have separate caps now but a can would look neater. Thanks for any advice.

Multi section cans work, yeah. What are you putting this in?
Star grounding works with as few points as possible and not on a transformer screw.. what you are putting it into has a lot of bearing on the best answer, and someone who knows more than what I just said here.

So that works out fine. If you look in the wreck files and follow a similar grounding scheme to the Rocket layout you should be in great shape, and when you aren't you get to talk about it and that is almost as fun as building an amp. (Or more even)

Best case would be to ground all that the cap can filters supply, at the cap can ground. So if you had B+1, B+2, B+3, etc. on the cap can, you will ground anything associated with those supply nodes at the same point that you would ground the cap can itself. This is a star grounding point by itself.
I hope I typed that right.
