I've got a pair of G12/50's, came in an H/H IC 100 combo. They are very good speakers. According to Celestion they were the first evolution of the G30H, utilising a 2.5" voice coil. To me they sound quite like a G30H just as punchy, with tight lows but with perhaps a little more mid. Recently moved them out of the HH into an old Hiwatt 4x12 paired with a pair of vintage Greenback's. Sound superb with both a Marshall JMP 50 and a Selmer T&B.

Sounds like they could be a good score, i'm thinking of chucking one in my Rivera when i get it back, the previous owner fiited a emi which is ok but not exceptional

It's a late '74 / early '75 going by the speaker codes and some of the components.

If you like Greenbacks and their chewy mids, you won't be disappointed.
