I've always wanted to. Seems it would be cool to illuminate the front panel.

I'd be interested to hear any others experience.

Gonna have to let this dream die. I received two lengths of EL wire, in blue and white. And while it is really cool stuff, I can't use it on my amp because of EM interference. The EL wire requires high voltage AC, so it comes with a little battery powered transformer that cycles at about 2KHz, and placing the wire anywhere near (within 6") of the input side of my amp causes the 2KHz tone to be amplified.

Maybe I'll put it behind the fabric of my speaker cab…

Now we are all VEGAS up in here, man! Any "vintage" cred I had has now EXITED the building with Elvis.

Ok. So if you ever have a problem with electron bloom I am skipping that thread. You have hydraulics on your guitar, don't you? :lol: I would continue on a tirade about "you kids" but I don't want to sound like some old asshole... but get off my lawn! (Clint Eastwood face)

Why can't you be into steampunk like all the other kids with watch escapement underpants and Jules Verne limited edition toe socks.
