Extending the silliness, nonlinearity and hysteresis might be words to live by: don't take the shortest path to get where you're going, and don't go the same way when you return.

Be kind of cool if we could get an idea how this capacitor behavior effects a real gain stage. I know there is a few spectrum analyzer programs out there that can put numbers to non-linearity. Sub in one capacitor for another and see what effect on a real tube stage. Some bright eyed university student should take it on as a thesis.
