Try this layout for your built in Loop, you might want to mess with the Filtering and dropping string though to get your B+ right.

Greg,

This is a cool amp, haven't seen the layout before is it new? Actual Dumble or a conglomerate of features?

I think its one of Normster's layouts.

If you're tight for space, just add a Terminal strip or two and put all of the loop parts on them and follow the normal Dumble lead dress for your main board.

Thanks Greg
wondering about the presence...
using I believe J Borders "2nd Gen Hybrid" layout.
The presence going to fx loop. Would that stay the same?
Or change it to the way Norm did it.

Up and running...sorta :?
voltages are good, even the internal loop is actually working... :)
The clean sounds really good with my crappy startup tubes
Problem is the OD relay... Not sure how to wire it
with the loop...tried it like Normsters layout and no go just OD...now I have it like this. only have clean now.
1.)MV3
2.)MV1/220K
3.)MV2/.05 of the loop
4.)Ground
5.)OD2
6.)01 cap on V1....
not sure if I need a lead from the loop or not?
Really like to figure this out..I'm probably over complicating things...
 nonetheless, any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated

The relays in the above layout are wired differently. If you're using JBorders relay PCB's, use this as a reference:

Thanks guys...appreciate your time
I have been looking at each one of your suggestions.
Funny I've referred to all of these very layouts/drawings during this build.
Question is with an internal loop do I run a wire from the loop pots to the relay common?
The layout in TM's link with dual masters is what I think I need, but its a bluesmaster with the HRM stack. Not sure it matters though.

Think I got it guys...OD, Clean,FET and PAB all working now.
I had a couple of beers and thought about it and wired it like I could understand and it actually works.... After cleaning up leads I'll be rolling some tubes (after a little burn in.)Not sure what this circuit was designed with in mind( guitar/player) but it seems more friendly to a Strat than a lot of others...maybe its just me. And beer.
(hope it still sounds this good tomorrow :) )
Again huge thanks guys, appreciate your time and knowledge.
BTW have a great/safe weekend...

Curious, what voltages did you end up with (On each Node, as well as the D-lator B+)? Did you follow the PTP layout from Normster D-lator?

I'll post final voltages asap, I did follow normsters layout and one from
I think heisthl...with the exception of push pull pots for the loop.

Yes the 2nd gen's are a Strat happy circuit..How's the range on the stack doing?
If your not having any noise issues with the loop congrats..Those loops in the amp can get noisy..Carry a ground lift (for you EFX unit) in your gig bag if you get someplace and find a G-loop issue sometimes lifting the ground there helps..I assume the loop is in circuit all the time so now your master is on the back which is kind of a pain to have to reach back there to adjust the amps volume..My Lexicon has an output control on the front so if I need to tweak it a bit I'll use that one..Something to think about if you have not already got your time based unit..

Thanks Tony
I found a new appreciation for Strats with this circuit
hopefully Tele's also.(have not plugged in any humbuckers yet). As far as the stack goes, I'll put it through some paces this weekend...my family will love it
It does seem the OD is cleaner/clearer, if that makes sense.
Different than the other D style circuits I have attempted.
Loop has a little noise when cranked up but its very acceptable
Ground lift is a great idea.
The Rocktron EFX's I use have in and out controls on the front.
As always Tony appreciate your time
