R7 resistor Question liver pool
what kind of tone tweek does the 150k resistor have in the liver pool verses the the 68k ? in position R7 Thanks

It will reduce the gain (in the technically correct sense) out of V1a, increase distortion, and reduce bass response.  Find out what it sounds like for yourself by swapping it out or by putting a 120k across the 150k.  Why do you want to do this and/or what are you going after?

Wouldn't the 150k increase gain vs the 68k?

Yes. The question is strangely worded, though. Since the schematic value is 150k I assumed that harris51 wanted to know what would happen if it were changed to 68k.pablogt wrote:Wouldn't the 150k increase gain vs the 68k?

I've got a 100k on a push pull pot in series with a 56k. Nice flexibility to clean it up.
