A dumb weather man could do that here, stupid even.

Oh, there's one now. Weather is on. Rain and heat, like Venus without a breeze.

Looking forward to 105 degrees over the next weekend.

Good time to throw a nicely marinated brisket in the grill and watch it cook for free, at about 140 degrees for a dozen hours.
Just a hint of wood to keep the fire going.

Prayers to those dealing with it, it's a tough thing.

I guess the weather in the Pacific Northwest is difficult to forecast because of the ocean, mountains, desert, etc effects.

But it cracks me up to watch these guys try.

Usually their look at the week ahead is like:

Partly cloudy, 50% chance of showers.

Or Partly sunny, 50% chance of sunshine.

They are wrong much more than they are right.

It changes daily.

That being said, the AC went out on my Honda.
Not surprising since it is 18 years old.

Got a leak some where. That's another thread.

Bah.
Sweater weather.

I'm not afraid of it.
I work in a steel mill.
It's hot all of the time!

Hydrate, electrolytes, eat lightly throughout the day.
Bananas are great to replace potassium, which can literally be a lifesaver for some as the heat is very hard on the cardiovascular system.

And, if you are on BP meds, be diligent about time and dosage.

I'm also an annoying safety pro.

Guilty!
But I'm enjoying a night on the deck with the wife, the dog, and a Les Paul.
Beer is there...
Goodnight!

Oh, yeah, and don't drink alcohol, it dehydrates!

:D

...Kind of like doctors that smoke, I get that way.

If I drank and had a wife I might like relaxing on a deck, but because I have no wife and don't drink I can't be talked into being outside with the air running..

I like air conditioning. It's more important than most everything else!

It started raining wed, a week ago here and just stopped this wed. Yards a foot tall , roof has a leak , water standing everywhere and the state birds are carting off small children right at dusk.
