Happy Father's Day!

Post by Reeltarded »

To all you mothers! Enjoy your day, then get back to schlepping, pops!

I would say I envy you, as I have no children, but then again I never had to finance a skateboard accident for a know-it-all kid that obviously got swapped in the nursery. I never had to answer the door at 4am to cops with frowns. I never had to change a diaper, I never had to have a meeting with school officials.. I always had control of the remote when the choices were nature shows, or Jackass: The Movie.

I might sound smart, but I never had anyone proud to call me dad.

Congrats!

I would add a note to fathers: if you aren't presently in the midst of a build, order some trannies, valves, sockets, and a chassis and get crackin.' Fathers, it's your day all month.

Happy Fathers Day all you Fathers!

I have one that graduated university recently. Another in college presently, and youngest will wrap up high school as an honor student if she keeps working at it earnestly (she will).

Apart from the diapers, high fevers, general damage, calls from police, school officials, adolescent rebellion, know-it-all attitudes, and general mind-warp ..... it's been a loving journey. I wouldn't trade it for nothin'!

Have a Great day everybody.

My kids are both grown, in their twenties and have informed me that I am intolerant and too conservative. You know, if a resistor is dissipating 1W, I'll use a 2W or 3W. Guilty as charged

My eldest has finally come around. I'm no longer the conservative ogre she used to think of me as. Hang in there Rob. With time, and a little luck, they eventually wise up. 8)

Well done. That's the best any man can hope for. Hope you got that twelve of PBR and some quality time in the easy chair.

I'm hoisting a Hobgoblin dark ale to you all right now. All my kids have feathers or fur.

Boys are 17 and 18.
So Mom did them a favor and bought a quad of 6L6GC's for my stereo power amp.

:D

Grillin' chicken, drinking Yuengling and harvesting stuff from old organ amps.
Life is grand!

 ... which side of the family does that come from?

I know a doctor with an island who specializes in these kinds of things.
