That's just too crazy, Tom. I had no idea that TGP has gone "Gestapo" like that. It's been a long time since I have spent any time there. Like others, I just don't have the time or patience to read through 15 pages of posts to gleen one little bit of wisdom....Maybe??....

As far as George Harrison goes. I actually gained more respect for him from the Scorsese bio. It put a much better context on the whole "eastern transcendentalism" thing. If anything I had a more "flakey" opinion of him previously due to this. I got a much better understanding now.

Also, the whole part when his wife was explaining the whole break in of the psychotic man and near death encounter was absolutely mind blowing. His response to that incident was quite courageous. Anybody who endures something like that and comes out of it with a positive outlook deserves my respect.

When I saw Billy Preston play the RAH for the George concert.. umm.. so I had never felt so empty, and didn't know that place existed for people, and yes Billy, it's a damned pity, and I will never forget you.

Thank you.

Nothing like humanity.. that we know of.

The next moment was different than the last, and I'll never be the same.

I will catch the GH doc when I can, just based on the reviews.

I got SO worn out on the Beatles (born in '63 and endured nonstop tributes...so much that I just got tired of it).

I still joke sadly "Beatles? Who are they? They'll never make it".
Some people actually "get" the intentional sarcasm.
Lennon would appreciate it, I think.

My observation on TGP is I start a thread, and get from zero to one replies.
I'm not one of the clique.

The users feuding between manufacturers and distributors is sad.
Weber has provided service above and beyond and I'm absolutely sure Scumback does the same.
To my eyes, we win both ways.
I really don't care what the soap opera behind the scenes is.
Hopefully the competition makes for a better product for all to enjoy, whichever side one wants to choose.

No way! I didn't have anything more to add that wasn't more TGP 'love'.

Is that like, "Sorry, I had to rearrange my sock drawer."

1977 athletic socks from Kmart (Adidas copy)

Haha

I have the 'heavy relic' version of these...just like 50 years of real wear! They were twice as expensive as new skull socks.

Eeh-oh!!

Speaking of socks ...... I must have 20 single socks missing their matches. They aren't in the washing machine. They aren't in the dryer. Where the heck do they go?

LINT.

They are those little fiber globs you clean out of the filter, and trapped in the exhaust vent.
Reassemble as needed.
