6P14P-EV's are great sounding tubes.
Not as inexpensive as they used to be, but for the price you can't beat them.
I'm very happy with the way they sound.

The 6P14P-EV's are the only EL84 like tube I've used for several years. They work especially well in amps that are hard on tubes ...

+1, although the EV's are not the only tubes that sound great. Any 6P14P will do, but the EV's ar ethe best if can get them.
