I have been doing some research on this attenuator. I ordered a Dr Z Brake Lite for my recent Route 66 head acquisition. I found an old thread at TGP that I found really interesting. Even though the BL is advertised as 4-8-16 ohm there is quite a bit of variation ... all reasonably safe. However ... the attenuation is doubled for 4-ohm cabs and halved for 16-ohm cabs. So:
