twin channel wreck

Post by jestaudio »

after being hugely impressed with the rockster,( cheers RJ :D ), i,ve got a hankering to build another wreck, i'm looking at the possibility of a twin channel wreck the second having a master volume to get the crunch in at a reasonable volume, any thoughts anyone

That Pegasus has always intrigued me, nice amp.

I have been working up the circuit for a Mazarati/Zwreck/Stangray into one amp.

With the Rockster, you could incorporate the unused triode of V2 into the gain stage foot switchable.

I did think of that which i think would give me something similar to the Dumble circuit in switching in a gain section but i reckon i could get away with 2 preamp sections and switch each one in and out before the PI, maybe drop one of the gain stages on the clean which would mean adding only one extra tube, i,m also looking at implementing reverb but need to read up on single tube circuits before i try it
