i have the j48. Is the jensen on better or is it more of a situational thing?

I have isolated power in the studio so ground loops are rare.

Been thinking about this and reading the tread. IMHO, there seems to be a law that says you can't make a thing do too much before it doesn't do any of them well. I don't know enough to say what is technically possible. I just think serving too many masters is way too complicated. I think it would be one thing to build an amp that also supplies power. It would be another to build an amp and a power supply side by side in the same cab, with two chassis. In the latter scenario, you can disguise it as one appliance when it is really two, and then you have a much simpler design?
