The slide switches on the back

Post by echo44 »

Hi
My chassis does not have holes for the slide switches on back
for the pedal manual-pedal or the 50-100 watt setting
a few quick questions.

1) any tips on what to use to add lettering to label the switches

2)is the voltage running through the pedal switches and 50-100
switch low so that I don't have to use heavy duty switches?
I bought some square slide switches like the original dumble
pics but than I would have to make substantially larger holes
in the chassis.

3)any disadvantage to having the 50-100 watt switch in regards to
sound? :?:

Not sure what you could use for lettering. Maybe some printable waterslide decal stock?
I have seen this stuff sold by places that cater to the effect pedal builders.

For the relay switches, small toggles are fine. You are only switching the relay voltage, which is generally 5-12VDC and fairly low current (5-10mA maybe).

I haven't ever added the 1/2 power switch, so I can't comment on that.

Good luck!

I have one of those Brother label maker and use the black tape with white letters to make little decals for controls and switches.

Don't let that smoke out!
