Yup, that's the L or U I was talking about! I must have seen the NASA document before.diagrammatiks wrote:nasa went from full wrap during wire wrap standards to a simple 90 degree turn radius at the point of contact with the terminal.

Re: Point-to-point wiring order
I would have completed the turn and given it squeeze for good measure with my hemostat before soldering. But I will change my ways, if it's good enough for Nasa...

Not to be a semantics nag,
your work is great but not all of that would qualify as ptp.

You can still get the intermittent with the Mechanical Joint if you don't have good flow and well-wetted surfaces.rp wrote:I fear the dreaded intermittent.
The mechanical strength of solder is real and quite dependable if you have a good solder joint (ie, not disturbed or discontinuous).
Re: Point-to-point wiring order
Awesome work, but not ptp. Somehow people have a trouble with this, it starts here and then just keeps building simple as that, can't get anymore expository than this:

it really depends on the mechanical joint.Zippy wrote:You can still get the intermittent with the Mechanical Joint if you don't have good flow and well-wetted surfaces.rp wrote:I fear the dreaded intermittent.
