All this started out with a Rocket in a correct TW headshell. I then acquired an Express in a carbon fiber headshell from TAG's own Amplified Nation. The Express had a really beautiful flamed maple faceplate so, out of curiosity, I threw it into the TW headshell and really liked the look so it stayed. Then I was left with the Rocket and the carbon fiber headshell. I had a piece of aluminum diamond plate laying around at my shop, so I fabricated a faceplate out of it a la Mesa Boogie. I then needed a logo so, with the help of a friend who is a graphic designer, we mocked up a final logo and I also made it in my shop. All this took a while, but I'm really happy with the end result.
Thanks! I'm still way too new at this to attempt a build circuit myself, so I just stick to aesthetics. Maybe I'll pick up a simple tweed build to start me off on my path.
The correct TW headshell is gorgeous and I got really lucky finding it for sale. Whomever built it was very talented.
