			Hi,
Fellow TAG member Jon asked me a while ago if I could help him build a Small Special, to do the electrical stuff for him and he would do the rest like the chassis, cabinet and facepanel. Sure.
So... I just completed soldering and I wanted to share the results here with you. It sounds great! Very sweet tone. And it was fun to build an amp together with a fellow builder.
FWIW, That coax is a real pain to work with. I added FET circuitry and the sockets for the power tubes can accept EL34's too.
Hope you'll enjoy, I sure did.
Jelle

Jelle's getting older, too!
No - only kidding.
Small Special controls: Volume, Treble, Bass, Level (M.V.).
Cheers,
Max

Like I said over in another thread
jon wrote: Jelle is actually building me something SPECIAL right now. Pictures to be posted at a future date.

The amp sounds amazing. A full report when I can spend a little time with her.

			Thanks!
The caps are CDE nos polyester caps. I have some stock for builds like this. The coax is rg59 video coax with foil and braid. No fancy schmancy switching in this amp, just plug and go.
And there's nothing wrong with getting older, *not* getting older, that would not be so good.

Thanks for the info Jelle, any chance you could name (model of 6L6 / brand) the power tubes?
Thanks again.
All the best.
