I have looked at that website before but it is in Germany I believe so I haven't ordered anything.

I see those guys sell some sort of "Anti-Hazard" gizmo, to protect you from electrical shocks...... at the astronomical price of 6 bucks
anyone have a clue what this wonder gizmo is....?

Probably correct, VK. Years ago Dan Armstrong (I think-the technical article was in an old issue of Guitar Player) recommended removing the .1uf tone cap many Fenders came equipped with, replacing it with a smaller, more versatile value, and then soldering the .1uf between the string ground and the controls. This was supposed to eliminate or reduce the hazard of shock when touching other electrical objects at a different potential.
