Hey everybody! My name is John Gentry Jr. I'm a TONE FREAK! I've been playing guitar for a long while and am just getting into how these tone boxes and machines work.
I have been a Boogie/Fender man my whole life and have just recently been bitten by the "Dumble" bug! I am proud to be the owner of one of the 1st prototype/production models of the Brown-Note D`Lite! Man, is this thing awesome! Having always known of the mystical Dumble sound, I pretty much wrote off ever playing one or anything remotely close to one til the recent years since, it seems I will never have the proper capital to buy an original, everyone has started to build clones. The D`Lite just plain sounds amazing!
I played a bunch of the Dumble variations at NAMM this year and loved almost all of them I played...But...As a 7 string player I found that some of them were a little loose in the low end department...Not the D`Lite!
So I just like to say "Hello" to everyone and let you know I'm excited to absorb as much of your knowledge as I can!
Thanks-John Gentry Jr.

Hi John! Great pic (but maybe a bit large for an avatar).
Glad you're liking the D-Lite. Is it loud enough for your venues?

Yeah...I gotta resize that puppy! I've played it in almost everyone of my bands and it hasn't disappointed me once!!!!! And I'm hard to win over! Sounds really nice through my Boogie 1X12 thiele cab with a Celestion 90! It sits in the mix like no other amp I've ever heard. It seems loud at really low volumes! I love it! My one and only complaint is that I wish I had some LED's on the foot switch! Is there any easy remedy to that with my current amp? I still can't thank you guys enough for helping me find a missing piece of my tone!!!!!!!!

Re: Introducing myself...
You can try putting the LED and a small resistor (4.7K is a good guess) in line (series) with each of the footswitch lines and see if the relays still work using the LEDs in the relays ground path. If not, an alternative is to put a 9V battery right in the footswitch (must have DPDT switches). If the 4.7K is too dim go smaller. The drag about using the 9V is if you leave the LEDs on between gigs it will run the battery down in a few days. For a cool way to do this on a future build see the footswitch schematic on the Glasswerks site. http://glaswerks.com/

If the relays current draw is less than 20mA you can put LEDs in series with the NEG side of the relay PS no problems.
