Great review Henry!

It's nice to put a face with a name.

Redplate continues to raise the bar by offering many different flavors of amps. :D

Great guy, great friend - congrats to Henry.

I'm the proud owner of 4 models now... Gigged this new Black n' Blues last weekend and jeepers. I have never had an amp sound so good on a gig. Blackface-like or multigain Tweed fronts feeding a nonHRM drive channel. Single/HB voicing switch on back, LNFB defeat, 1/2 power switch, diggin' the Swamp Thang speaker. The Strat was rocking. Really don't know why I still heat up a solder iron..

I have no moving pictures of the critters, but here is a still of the lazer eyed goddesses when I house/dog sat a few years back. Daisy wasn't supposed to be on the furniture - don't tell Henry.

Nice amp for sure!

Henry was showing me the board and how the relay is underneath because replacing a relay is not that common. You can see all those turrets in a bunch where the relay is.

Oh those terrible IC filter caps people talk about, funny I use them and so does Redplate. :)

Great dog shot!

File copy from Henry of my amp since I don't have a good shots at home.

Hmm, I just looked at Mouser, starting up a project, for some Sprague 16uF 475V caps for my next build - £9 - that's 9 British pounds a pop !!!! $14 to you - Even here in the UK I can get them for around 50% of Mouser's price - F&T equivalent - 1.95€

IC are just fine too, but not available AFAIK in the 16/475, so 10€ of F&T should do :D

Here's a link to a Canadian firm that seems to have good stuff too:
