Where did you put the switch.?
It seems like it would be so much easier to just add one more jack.....
I have the ground switch doing double duty as a tie point for the PT and power switch/fuse connection scenario. And then to deal with the OT wires over by all that Power Supply, Heater, AC stuff.
And, though I could certainly be wrong, it seems like the rotary Z Switch was not going to fit in the chassis. Not without bottoming/shorting out to the chassis, or being to tall the other way. I could be wrong....that is the way it seemed when I pulled the Ground Switch and tried to fit the Z Switch in that hole......
Thanks

Here is how I installed a Marshall switch on my Twin clone with a '94 Twin OT, I added another jack to facilitate series operation, as well as parallel.

I put switches wherever I can find room. a rotary switch fitted exactly. I prefer hiwatt wiring of the output jacks, since its safer

Mr. Fowler, I would never dream of offending you.....You have helped me too many times.
My thinking is that, with my doubts about making a good fit, in this chassis, with the Z Switch I have, it will be easier/better to just add a third jack. Especially considering the fact I would have to drill another hole either way.
If I were going to go with the switch....yes....I think the placement you chose is much wiser. Why get involved with all that PS, AC, Heater wires, crossing wires, etc. etc. that there is over at the Ground Switch locale.
I would much prefer to go the route you did. :)
Thank You
