I gigged with a Sunn Model T for many years. It's one of the main reasons why I now say, "what?" a lot.

Here I though that was just selective hearing loss.

I wonder if that thing would drive the bugs out of my house.
Or at least make them sterile.

Relax. It's SUPPOSED to smoke a little.

Well, it was sounding pretty tight. For a player like say Zakk Wylde with 4 (or more) half stacks of EV12L's it would probably be just about right. Also it did have nice clean up with guitar volume control at the end of the clip. For me, no.....for arena rocker...maybe.

As far as spamming goes. Not too cool.

I have a great respect for all the vendors that contribute to this forum, and would go so far as to endorse their amps when I meet a guitarist searching for a particular something.
But I would steer any guitarist away from considering a vendor who does a flyby ad on a builders forum.
I know the big volume side of the musical equipment industry is somewhat built on hype, and maybe even sometimes on the boutique side of things. But for the most part I see a level of trust between small volume manufacturers and working musicians, the niche is being able to listen to the needs of your customers at a more personal level.
</rant>
TL;DR - I give your post a negative ten.

The trick to success is to be a designer for a major company and branch out with a name for yourself or build a solid product and get it into the hands of the right player who influences others to buy your product. Keeping in mind your product is affordable enough to go head to head with a competetors brand and letting your tone seal the deal.
The rest is quality of build and customer service. Add a flashy logo and clever add campaign and your rolling.
The hardest part of any small amp company is making a new circuit and not just sampling from others and adding features.

My Daughter Build Stone Henge
						Why, Why, Why !!!!!!
Why 200w
1 Something different to break away from Orange drop, 6L6, EL34, 100 watt amps through the same old Celestions.
2. As stated on my website. My concept was born 12 years ago in the recording studio when I ran SLO100 into a 1x12 EV and used it for recording. It had the biggest sound!!!! At the time I had a Mesa Touring Rig with 2 4x12 cabs, tri-axis/290, rack system and we would pull out 1x12 EVs out to rehearse. the only problem was they were too directional in a single speaker and I wanted a 2x12 version but with a amp that would push 2 EV's the same. Now the GTS is all I use in a smaller high-power package.
3. head room,
4 The KT90 are EL34ish KT88 and they promote the guitar range, Unlike most hi-gain amps the GTS you can scoop out ALL the MIDS to make it Death metal thunder!!! then go into a solo and still shine loud and clear. Most amps will not do that.
5 give me a chance!!!! this is my flagship and i have tons of designs and ideas I want to build including some 18 and 30 watts. And i just finished a 50 watt xtube mod jcm800 type no sound or video clips yet!
6 like I stated in 1 all of my amps are going to be different as I explore new tubes, speakers, components. i try to think outside the box than what the norm is in building amps, and i don't like a lot of gimmicks and features to make multi-use tools at the cost of a great single use weapon!!
7 I'm tired of companies who look at cost and not quality. the Audiophile industry and forums believe in using the best while the guitar forums talk about using the cheapest. I don't make much selling $4000 amps, its all parts and labor. I'll make a profit from my cheaper/lower watt amps to come!! My amps are pure quality down to the 3/4" CNC metal grill (GTS), 99% pure Silver wire, and 24k gold aluminum knobs (GT-6)
8 yes I wanted to build a 400w with a Hiwatt 401 based power section with 8 KT88's but I woke up from that dream. then I wanted 8x KT66 until my transformer designer sat me down and said we can do 6x KT66 thats all and then I ended up with KT77's. Now I have Toriodal PT that can peak this amp way over 200w and still run ice cold compare the all the fried eggs I cooked on my original design PT.

The objection is not about your amp.
It is the way you presented it.
How about an introduction to yourself.
Your background, your goals, your dreams.
And I will state this again, this is an amp building forum.
Not a webspace for advertising your amp company or your products.

Welcome fellow ampbuilder. Would you care to tell us a bit about your transformers for the 200W? Are they customs, built by who and what are the spec?
Thanks,
Jelle

Yes and without gutshots, schematics, layouts, nice as the 200w may be, it's of little use to us on here, cos we want to copy all the best bits from yajelle wrote:Welcome fellow ampbuilder. Got a BOM we can see please?

Don't need pics of your box, just give us the gut shots or the schematics!
Whoops, a bit slow to the draw...

This is blatant sales crap and violates the besic tenent of this forum. Moderators have even posted stickys about this for those who bother to read. Either disclose what is in the amp or end the thread. I vote "who cares".

Vibratoking, I agree and since he is a new member, I want to give him the opportunity to change direction. Let's see what happens.
