just installed vvr2 in a wreck and with variac at very low voltage B+ <30V, voltage testing results are very odd, so im stopping and asking for advice.
amp is working fine and voltages work correctly on amp without board, tubes out.
with B+ IN below 30 volts B+ OUT changes only 2-3 volts from max to min on pot.
im getting positive volts (5-10 ) on my C- out and it brings up C- in to positive also.
so i disconnected C-in and im gettting positive voltage at C- in and C- out with nothing on that circuit.
so i checked DCR between B+ out ant C- out and i get 6.5K ohms.
is there a problem in my board? or the mosfets?
is the mosfet insulator a clear color? min is.. does it have a removable plastic stick on cover to remove before insulation ,, my seemed to , i did...
i used a 40 watt iron with tiny tip and very quick.. could i have fried my board?
thanks !

Re: VVR2 VVR installation
Have you checked diodes? I had a similar problem with my b+ voltages beng close to zero, but only after switching from standby. Everything else tested normal values, even the MOSFET. So I unsaughtered the Zener (was a VVR3, so only the one diode), and viola, there was the issue. Quick place and it works like a charm now.
Re: VVR2 VVR installation
Deleted. This was a different problem with a different customer.

Re: VVR2 VVR installation
is this the right case dana? we never talked about thw wires going to the wrong place. the mosfet is on the board...
