FWIW, I use 20AWG Teflon wire throughout, even in 100-watts (remember the PT heater wire's themselves are going to the first tube anyway, which has the highest demand).

I really wanted to mention though to be careful with those Belton 9-pins because solder can easily flow into the socket holes. It's easily preventable though by putting a tube in while soldering. I wouldn't use any other sockets myself@

I had my first issue with solder flowing into the socket on my last build what a PITA. I now put in old tubes as well.
