Question about buzzing EV12L speaker ... coil rub?

To me it almost looks like the voice coil form itself is distorted or out of round.

Probably need to re-cone that for a fix.

Because in order to shim a voice coil, the cone needs to be loose on the frame.
Then you shim it and glue the cone edges.

I like the look of that first kit because the voice coil and spider is already attached to the cone.
