The playing is amazing, but the tone doesn't stand out. To my ears it's very honky in the mids, I figured with that guitar and amp and with that guys talent the tone would be full and rich. Maybe it's just the way it was recorded (you had to be there?)

The recording was done with a iPhone . Not your best recording but it give's you the good's

Macdaddy Brad! You're driving me nutso waiting for this Quinn SDOR #183/#102 Ojai amp. Killer Jazz Box, Indeed very nice comping fo sho, sounds great! there's a mint Dumbleator on Maverick that would probably go real nice with 183

:D Hee Macdaddy how are you?! I really loved the cleans of 183 when I played it. Nothing wrong with them at all. Maybe its the recording.

I have to agree as well. I didn't think it displayed any of the nuances of the amp.
