Re: Ebay chassis
It is Stu-Daddy, his e-mail address is on one ad.
IMO 2mm aluminum on the two D-chassis is too thin to stand up to professional use. That is only 5/64", 0.079". Dumble use 1/8", 0.125". Big difference. They look like surplus "Made in Malaysia" stuff with that silk screening.
The steel Marshall chassis look good though.

Re: Ebay chassis
Yeah but good source of different types of chassis he is offering, I could use some Marshall chassis like that with face plates.
Re: Ebay chassis
Yeah, the D chassis(s) are the exact same thin ones that we have seen before. The Marshall is a good deal, I had a line on a steel 50W chassis that was about the same price without the plates. Yep, it's Stu, I got a 18W head chassis set from him recently.David Root wrote:It is Stu-Daddy, his e-mail address is on one ad.

Re: Ebay chassis
That D-style chassis is def from the guy in Thailand. It is quite sturdy, but a lot of the holes are in awkward locations, and/or the wrong size. It has a nice anodized finish, though.
I'd seriously consider it at $100. I paid the $167 for mine. Came all the way from Thailand in a carboard box tied with white cotton string, with a little tag hanging off it. Like a package from 1900.
