Great video. Is the schematic available for this amp? I'm curious if it is a complicated build. Keep up the good work.

Look at the 3rd gen sticky under Dumble Files. There is a nice schematic and layout there for the 70s style Dumble. They are about 98% in sync with each other. I recently built a 50w with 6L6s. I like mine so much that I'm working on a 100w version now. The information is available here and it's not any more complicated than any of the other Dumble versions, but all the Dumble types are fairly complex compared to other classic amps and it does take some work!Jack Hester wrote:Great video. Great video and sound! Very similar to the sounds I get out of mine although I prefer P90s. I always gravitate to my Fender Stratosonic (with Lollar P90s) with my amp.

Got it saved. That is one busy schematic, but very do-able. I like to break each section down and try to figure out why it was done that way. Purely from an electronics point of view. I'm not a musician any more, but trying to rectify that, after too many years. So the 'why' part is a challenge, not knowing how it affects tone and clarity. But, that's coming along, too. Thanks for the source.sonicmojo wrote: Look at the 3rd gen sticky under Dumble Files.

Funny, but this is the way I feel about my 70s build too! I usually keep the Overdrive only around 9:00 and use my guitar volume for boost, but my strat's P90s are hot compared to most other strat single coils. I didn't add a PAB to mine and it is pretty much the old school config with no extra Master and just the Accent Switch.ElectronAvalanche wrote:I immediatly felt at home with the OD of my 70s. Maybe it is my playing style, but the later ODS are not enough Rock'n'Roll for me. The 70s will probably sit nicely in a band context (still need to test my amp with the band).

I love the 70's style these days. I was ripping away on my 4x6V6 - SC amp over the weekend and it is just fun to play.
How is the R-A-L working out?

It's awesome..The Reverb A Loop is awesome a brilliant Idea and I'm loving it. I am running it with the All the Loop Amps and it will also get incorporated with the new Metro Super Bass (with Loop) Really Nice Verb and funky monkey Delay torques and tweaks..glasman wrote:Sounds great Ted!!
