I use a multi-tap OPT in my Champ type build and compared ~4.5K to ~7.5k several times. There was no discernable difference in volume or tone.
If it says "Vintage" on it, -it isn't.

When I made my circuit board, I stuck components on it just to see how they fit. When I started soldering things together, I neglected to make sure every capacitor was facing the right way. Fortunately nothing blew up. As far as you will ever know.

Well you need to look for things, things that make your amp go up in smoke :lol: Just updating your sig.

Also, it turns out a 6V6 makes a pretty lousy rectifier.
Relax. It's SUPPOSED to smoke a little.

A crap no 6v6 for a rectifier now what am I going to use. :lol:
