My Semi with D'Lite 22/33 (Clips)

Post by doveman »

I finally touched a solder joint on my 30 year old Yamaha SA2000. Replaced the pickups with a set of Seth Lovers ... rewired the harness with some higher pot (500k) values and slighly brighter caps (.015uf and .022uf). Playing the amp with a bit of Xotic RC or EP occasionally ... but I don't think I really need the pedals.

Sounds great, I especially like the real honest to God Leslie going whomp whomp whomp. There's just something about a great guitar tone with a Hammond/Leslie backing it up 8)

Yeah ... I love playin' with the keyboard guy. We met through our sons who both played in a band together in junior high many years ago. Give a listen to him at about 2:50 on this one. He's playing with another band right now ... so this is just a jam ... first time I've played in about 5 months.

There is no sound like a real tone wheel Hammond through a 147 or 122 . The reflection of the horn off the walls. That guy really wails!

The guitarings none too shabby too.
