Great sounding amp Tony.

Can you share what the ripper is? Is is a Dumble "model" like the blues master etc. or something else?

Also congratulations for having your amp in the hands of such a talented artist.

Dig it!!!!
It's nice to hear these amps in a non-Ford/Carlton context (though that's great as well).

Hi Tony,

edit: was able to watch the video by using a proxy (damn GEMA : german musical copyright watchdog). Us guys from Germany sometimes can not watch videos on YT since the GEMA blocks them.

Tony: The amp sounds fantastic!

Great Tremolo! Opto-roach?

So it is a 70s style amp (small power amp: 6V6?) in a combo format?

Again great sound,

Cheers,

Electron

Eric/Electron...Think Plexi..The Ripper is basically a Bluesmaster front end driving the overdrive that's consists of one gain stage driving a cathode follower tone stack and a BM PI and output section running EL 34's..That amp was loaded with Xicon MPP's and some carbon comp resistors some spots..I also had the BM stack hard wired in rock mode in that one..Clean stack is lifted automatically in OD mode on this one..Not switchable... Speakers in that clip were Vintage 30's...Tremolo on that was I believe a Voodoo Labs on his board..Nice sounding trem..
BTW..You have to watch where you set the drive/gain in these things..they can get pretty nasty on you real quick..
Thanks for the compliments and for listening!!

I hope this helps!!

Tony that sounds great really like the amp.

Is that Tony King's amp the one he told me he really likes?

Tony,

That's right he did talk about the Fralin amp. From our phone calls I agree totally TK is a nice guy and he talked highly of you as well! :) Thanks for posting his rig photo.
