Reverb integration in a Tube amp

Post by charlze »

Hello guys!

I am planning to integrate a reverb circuit based on PT2399 specifically the rebote 2.5. My plan is to include the reverb in the amp circuit and not by a standalone unit.

Could someone give a hint on how to do it because I am not sure what stage should i insert it to.

I am attaching here my schematics and should I take out and replace some components and values.

Thanks in advance.

The reboote is just a delay, and you won't get anything reverb-like out of it. For a good sounding reverb, you'd need multiple delay chips, comb filters, complex feedback patterns, etc. Reverb algorithms are VERY complex.

If you want a dsimple igital reverb circuit in the amp, I suggest you checkout the Belton reverb "brick":
