100k Lin vs 100k log or audio

So I order my part and get them I notice the my volume pot got my zendrive is a b100k lin. It still works and plays but the pedal acts like it's on ten when it's only around.a 1/4 turn. It call for a log should I get one or is that normal.

Yes, definitely get a logarithmic if you want a more useful sweep.
