I recovered a little disk amplifier with a single tube a 6bm8
Please have you a schematic for guitar use of the 6bm8 tube as SE ?
I've find some schematics for guitar use with that tube, but they are PP and not SE
Thanks for any help

Re: I'm looking for a 6bm8 SE guitar amp schematic
I've got a design that I've been meaning to post using a 6BM8 and a 12AX7. Switchable third gain stage and three different boost options. It puts out a LOT of sound for a little guitar amp. I'll try to post a schematic when I get a chance, been meaning to do so for a while now.

Re: I'm looking for a 6bm8 SE guitar amp schematic
tubenit had a few 6BM8 amps, incl a SE (verb-o-champ) IIRC
AFAICT you just run the pentode sections the same way you'd run a 6V6, and the triodes the same way you'd run a 12AX7

How about this one??
It's a cross between Mat's 86 Special and Geezer/Tubenit's Tweed Overdrive Special but using a 6BM8 instead.
I haven't built it, but I'd like to.

That is cool
I think I can try with a 12ax7 in place of the 5751 (that I haven't)
and use a 6ak5 instead of the 7859 (I've few 7859 and more 5654 / 6ak5)
thanks

I think that would work fine and that it would be a great sounding amp!
I hope you build it & let us know how it sounds.
I had been pondering that idea for awhile, but drew it up after seeing this post with your inquiry.
