Quick Choke Question

Post by surfsup »

Okay, this one is easy. I assume since the choke is basically a wire wound, the direction of leads is not important. Correct?

Your correct, it doesn't matter what lead goes where. A choke is an inductor, but inductors aren't polarized.

The inductor only has a polarity when DC current is flowing through it.
