Does anyone know where to get these mini switches?

Hi guys. I noticed these cool mini switches that don't seem to use the standard nut and washer to secure it to the chassis.

Does anyone know where to find these?

These nuts are sold as separate accessories. Try Farnell.

Thanks so much! Hope you don't think I'm being lazy but do you have a link to the switches and these nuts. Don't know how to start searching farnell

They're called dress nuts. The Two Rocks I've been in used C&K 7000 series toggle switches.

From the Farnell site, navigate to:
Switches & Relays > Switches > Toggle > Toggle
and then filter by manufacturer to C&K Components.

They only have them with flat toggles at the moment so I bought a bulk-load of the cheapest switch that had the right dress washers when they were on special before, and just used the dress washers with my regular switches.

If you find a better solution I'd be glad to hear it.

Oh Jason thanks!!! now I can have my cake and eat it too. I want to order almost everthing from mouser, so going to Farnell for just these switch washers would've been a pain!

If they aren't using a nut to hold it on then the hole is most likely threaded.

That is a nut. There are two flats on the sides so you can grip it to tighten it.

Yes, you can grip them, but they're hard to use for tightening as they won't go any further than the first thread, so they sit flush with it.

If you follow the order of regular nut, anti-rotation washer to lock into the chassis, chassis, faceplate (if applicable), dress nut then you can adjust the effective length of the switch shaft with the nut inside the chassis.

It's always worked a treat for me, and I've used lots of these.

Ok so 611-709901201 will fit a standard 1/4" switch shaft?

They should do. I've used them on non-C&K mini toggles just fine.
