that's awesome and only ~350lbs!

If you haven't seen this model of leslie it's worth a road trip if you ever get a chance. My friend in AZ has a leslie 950 it's over 6ft tall and lights up like a circus as it spins. He runs it with a modified preamp pedal and his gretsch penguin, it's his bedroom amp. ~375lbs. I've never seen one for sale or another one in person.

that's crazy especially if you have to haul it around and you don't have a crew to move it for you.

I want two. - you have to balance out the stage.

I have no clue how many where built i'd guess less then a dozen. I'm not sure who they where marketed toward. But they are truly epic in every way. You have to mic the drummer if you play one.

I think the rotating speakers should be built robust enough for go-go dancers to stand on.

I've played one of these in a shop before. It's such an intense feeling literally being surrounded by a physically generated chorus (as opposed to an electronically created one). The sounds that those Leslie's produce is truly an experience.

122 or 147 and everything else is not a 122 or 147...

Fender Leslies are also pretty cool, but the 122 is what sounds right. There are reasons those are rare. Heavy, and more expensive than a couple hits of microdot.
Signatures have a 255 character limit that I could abuse, but I am not Cecil B. DeMille.
