Hi Gents,
i`just happy with my constellation: changed V2a Cathode to a trimm - 2,15 V -- Great!
Anode R V2 to CC -- OK
Smoothinc cap 1nF over Anode R V2a, and removed the 390p on the socket (V2a).
All together a fine sounding and very close to my expections.
The only is try some different tubes. For the moment: V1= JJ 12AX7,
V2 EH 12AX7, V3 Sovtec 12aX7 ballanced.
Fine mellow feedback "clipping".
And the head shell is finnished:
the back side of the shell is not finished because I´ll integrade the D´Lator to it. So I dont want to make than a new back.
Thanks for the moment
Hans-Jörg

Hi Gents,
one more questione:
did anyone integrated the D*Lator in the headshell on the back side bottom. Is there anything against this.
My shell is high enough for integrating let say a 1H chassis. For the main chassis there was no place. But under it, useing from the back side, great.
Any comment?

Is that blue snake skin tolex?
Interesting looking amp head Hans.
I saw a cab on the internet that had an opening on the bottom of the front valance for a single high rack mount chassis.

Hi Tom,
no, its not a blue but "only" black and white.
I manteled once a cheap Tele with this Tolex. So I had still an amount of it. Than I saw D. Lindleys Amp in "fretboardjournal" and I know how mine will look like.

Thanks for your input, but I want to use it from back. There is more space.
So there is no possibillity of bad interaction between both "Amps" in one shell.
So let´s do it.
Merci

Well several guys here have built in the Dumbleator in their amp chassis so it can be done.
I suppose it depends on your chassis and how much room you have.

Hello,
something against to pull the B+ and the heating wires of the amp through the Head shell down the DumbleLator chassis. So I dont need an extra Power In.

Using the amps power lines to fuel a dumbleator, might seem logical and simple - from a theoretical standpoint - but don't do it. Use a small transformer instead. The additional cost of a dumbleator power supply is is minor and it's much safer to have power in a confined space.hans-jörg wrote:Hello,
