Bloom and feedback

Has anyone ever tried one of the Sustainiac systems with their D amp? They appear to get much of the bloom mojo without having the amp cranked for deafness and sitting in front of the speaker. There are samples on Youtube but nothing with a D amp. Thinking of trying one and would like to hear any thoughts on these.

I used to have a sustainiac type system that came on one of my guitars, I removed it. Just try putting your head stock against your amp to see if you like it, it does essentially the same thing, maybe even better.
