I guess a tube can be constructed in different ways and still be the "same" tubes.......but do these look like the same tube.?

Yup, they are "electrically equivalent" as the Ancients used to put it. RCA & Sylvania. I have some of each.
There are other 6SL7s that look different than those. I have a '51 Ken-Rad with shiny nickel plates, very snazzy! They sound darker than the Sylvania or the RCA.

The WGT is a military tube, supposed to be more durable, ya they are the same animal, but will likely sound VERY different.
