What to build next

Post by 67plexi »

I want a light weight combo single 12” speaker.
Have JTM-45 transformer set or JMP-50 transformer set to play with.
What I have built so far is a 100watt #124, 100watt #102 and a 100watt #183 is in the works.
I like clean tones I love the #124 build low plate.
What would you all go for?

Best regards, Steve.

Liking clean tones I'd consider a modified '70's deal, an amalgam of the different circuits. It really has a different sound than the other stuff and they lend themselves to pretty much any guitar.

Steve
If it were me I would do something with a classic stack this time.. Perhaps the 124 low plate classic layout I did..Also a 2nd generation w/EL34's might also be pretty cool too..Clean and mean.. Good Luck with the build..

Why not a JTM45 combo with a single 12", maybe a Celestion Gold or something. I love 45's!
