That is a very cool old cage amp.
What is in it right now?
The Dumble style master volume works well because the distortion is all done in the preamp section, unless you stray too far from the reservation.
As far as negative feedback goes, are you asking about the Local Neg. Feedback on V1b or the global feedback on the power section?
If local, I put mine on a swithc on my Dumble clone.
Little mini toggle on the back to turn it on or off.
I tend to leave it off, seems a bit more lively and raw without it.

10thTx,
I've decided to go with the TweedMaster for most of my new build. I like the Dumbley sound you are getting with those values and the configuration will work well with my board.
My favorite design I've used in the past (attached, except the "blend" control is something new I thought I might experiment with after the amp is complete) uses a TW pre (3-12A*7 stages) with a Dumble OD, and I like the sound very much. But, I'm considering trying out the Fatness stage from the Tweed OD instead of (or possibly in addition to) the 100k/10k 3rd stage.
What'cha think?

Are you referring to Geezer's Tweed BluezMeister (aka TweedMaster) soundbits? He's a great player and I really like the tone he's getting from those amps. I'd follow the values he's using.I like the Dumbley sound you are getting with those
I'm impressed with what you've done already. If you're willing to experiment and tweak, go for it.What'cha think?
with respect, 10thtx

Thank's for asking Structo. It's an vintage Swedish school-PA amp. L&M Ericsson brand. That company is probably more famous from telecommunication equipement than audio. Nowadays it's half of the Sony Ericsson cell phone company. 2xEL34 P-P power amp. Pre amps are built around EF86's and ECC82's, ECC82 also on P.I. Came fully loaded with Telefunkens. Nice bargain. Also got 2x12" cab with vintage Celestion G12M blackbacks. Paid 300€ for the set. Gonna use those telefunkens on my future builds. Only problem is that it has only 100V line out and 50ohm speaker out. The ex-owner had used the 50ohm out and connected 2 16ohm speakers in series. Close enough to boogie I guess. I just did't like the sound at all... I'm gonna use different OT and just rebuild it from scratch probably recycling some components. Lotsa Nice vintage caps there. I really like the looks too. And yeah I was asking about the global feedback. Will the amp saturate too easily without it?
