Paolo, naw the instanity level around here is pretty low... On the other hand, i went and read the gear page for the first time in bout a year yesterday, and insanity is king:) relics.... bahahahha relics.... fender has to be laughing to the bank on that one... and people taking good new guitars and chipping paint off... play the damn thing thats how you make a relic

Whaddya mean? My Custom Shop SRV #1 clone enables me to play just like the man himself. I can't play Texas Flood right on any other strats, but I pick that one up... BOOM!!!!! It all has to do with the proper equipment: SRV strat/ NOS TS808/ Line 6 Vetta hea.........
Sorry, I can't even finish this w/o bursting out laughing :lol:
I do think there is some merit to the difference in tone of different solders, though. Just ask Eric Johnson. Oh, wait, that would give him something new to obsess about! :wink:

Personally I don't care how you build your amp, what techniques you use, as long as you do it with SOUL!! and use cheepy chicken head knobs.

use Kester 44 rosin core, it's a good all around solder.
