That is flamed maple. Or some call it fiddle back maple.
I'd like to get more into wood working but lack of space is my biggest problem.
I use a little Brothers label maker for some of my amps as well.
There is a black with white lettering that looks pretty good as well as clear with black lettering.
This is good labeling for prototypes or mods you do to amps.
