I ordered a Fane Studio 12L from tonic amps, the only distributor in North America. I would have thought the Fane name would have attracted more distributor interest here.
They are offering a special for TAG members, 25% discount off the (hefty) $289 list, which is $216.75 net, plus only $35 shipping to Canada, which is $4 less than Avatar! They are out of stock for a week or so unfortunately so I won't get it before Xmas.
If you're interested e-mail Darin Ellingson at orders@tonic amps.com.
I hope it fits my Boogafunk TL806. Anyone know that?

Great speaker and Darin is great to work with.
The fane will require a bigger hole in the baffle board than most speakers.
The speaker works really well with these D-style amps, here's some examples with one of mine:

Sounds great Jelle! That '59 Esquire is something else!
And no EV12L "fizzies" that I could hear.

I have the Studio 12L in a no name ported back 1X12 cab, no break in and with the El34 90s HRM it's a really great speaker. I can only imagine how good this speaker will sound when it loosens up a bit.
I'm liked the Delta Pros but the Fane is so musical as an instrument speaker. I need a good cab but I am plenty happy with it for now.

Does your mother know you talk that way??

Thanks! The amp is also voiced to have less fizzies, it's not just the speaker.
The speaker sounds like a cross between a EVM and a greenback. Very cool, I like them a lot.
Order them in the US via Tonic amps.
