True, but the Heyboers you've had were the older ones using M27 lams and not the later ones using M19 lams, so I think you'd find the newer ones right up there with the Pacifics.

True paul, and you would know you sold me them! Great sounding ot just more aggressive than the pacific. To my ears and stronger more narrow mid range.

Yeah, these things are aggressive enough without the transformers adding a little something extra! I'm going to have to try a 6K6 M19 Heyboer or Pacific in a Liverpool soon - that sounds like it could be a winner.
