This is an astonishing remark. I have been playing an Epi Dot into a Ceriatone OTS with the OD channel up high. But I have the neck pickup vol turned way, way down. And it sounds acoustic to me.Mr Dumble wrote:Shit sound quality and clipping on this, but only time for 1 take. VERY BAD VERY BAD.
One thing that Shad nailed for sure, is the ability of the amp to still have an almost acoustic tone when overdriven heavily.
And the verdict is?Mac Daddy wrote:[IMG:606:799]http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a373/ ... G_9120.jpg[/img]
I'm sure they are all slightly different, but how did the two TKT's fare against the REAL deal?

It amazes me. As good as I knew it sounded, i still thought when I put it next to the real deal, i would need to fly Shad back for some fine tuning. NOT SO!!! There is nothing more he could do!! Nothing to change even slightly!Structo wrote:That is really cool that Shad was able to nail the tone.
Many have tried.
Are the knob positions in the photograph the same as when you played and recorded the amps?

   SORRY SHAD!

Thanks Brad. Correct Structo. I use it almost all the time when I have the right cord. I LOVE it. No Dulator needed. It is not working correctly as my dog ate the power cord, so I use a Boss RV2 most of the time right now. I did use it on the last poli clip with an improper power supply so the reverb is not nearly as clear as usual. Its still less buzzy than the RV2 though.Mac Daddy wrote:Trex Room-mate version 1 reverbStructo wrote:What's the pedal in the foreground?
