Rectifier tube stats

I have a Fender SF Super Rev. It was a rescue amp that I put together. The original was a lost cause. It came with new PT and OT, new baffle, new circuit board, and I installed all new parts. I am not sure where the trannies came from. I assume it was either Mojo or CE Dist.
Anyway.... if you have an amp that uses a GZ34, would you just assume your PT cannot supply more than 2 amps for a rectifier. I have been wanting to drop the B+ but the rectifier tubes I have in mind all require 3 amps for their filaments.
I suppose I need to get a rectifier that is a 5Y or a 5R and not a 5U. As luck would have it, I have some of the 5U's, but not a single 5Y or 5R.
So, asking again....is it just common sense to assume if your amp has a rectifier that draws 2 amps for the heater, then the PT in the amp is not capable of much more than 2 amps?

Doesn't the 5Y3 draw 2 amps as well but drops 60v?

It really depends on the power transformer.

Do you know the make and model of the PT?

OK, looks like the trannies came from CE Dist.
The PT is a F22798. Hammond part number P-T290DX
The sight will not allow me to paste a link. But looking at the secondary it shows a 5 volt tap and 3A. So I guess it is safe to assume I can run a 3 amp rectifier tube?

No problemo at 3 A.

Primary: 120 VAC / 60 Hz.
Secondaries: 325-0-325 V @ 200 mA w/ 53 V bias tap, 5 V @ 3 A, 6.3V CT @ 4A. Fender 125P5D and 022798 equivalent.
